It is expected that the 4th ODI will be in favour of India, like the previous matches. Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan are in great form, and they will carry it forward into the Johannesburg ODI. Also, the Proteas are finding it difficult to play spin. They are getting into knots, especially with AB de Villiers and now Faf du Plessis out of commission.
Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal will be expected to play a major role in the bowling department. Hardik Pandya is also showing signs of resurgence and this will be a worrying factor for the Proteas. There is no doubt that Bhuvneshwar Kumar will trouble the Proteas and make it difficult for them to score. Rohit Sharma too is expected to play a crucial role in batting.
So, things are looking great for the Indians. On the other hand, the depleted South African side will try to save face by making the Indians run for their money. First AB de Villiers was ruled out followed by Faf du Plessis. Now it is Quiton de Kock. However, cricket pundits believe it will be difficult for the Proteas to win, as the Indian side is highly motivated and its key players are not letting the side down.
Rohit Sharma has fallen to Kagiso Rabada six times in India’s eight games on this tour. Rohit Sharma’s miserable tour of South Africa continues. Rabada gets him (AGAIN). Excellent reflexes from the South African in follow through. History may be in South Africa’s favour but Virat Kohli’s team has torn to shreds almost every South African record in the six-match series so far.
