South Africa moved closer to a series win as Australia slumped to 110 for six at the end of the second day in reply to imposing first-iSouth Africa went to stumps on the first day of the series decider at the Wanderers on 313-6 after a dominant 152 from opener Aiden Markram, and 69 from AB de Villiers.nnings total of 488 made by the hosts.Here are the highlights from day 2.


If South Africa were in a strong position on the first Day, the second day has put the hosts in the driver’s seat. With seamer Vernon Philander taking three wickets, dismissing Usman Khawaja, Matt Renshaw and Peter Handscomb, Australia ended up with 110/6 at stumps, trailing by 378 runs. Khawaja tried to put on some resistance, scoring his 12th Test half-century – but could not sustain for a longer period. Earlier, Temba Bavuma played a solid innings and remained unbeaten on 95 as the home side were bowled out for 488. Pat Cummins took two wickets in two balls, getting rid of Morne Morkel for a golden duck in his last Test.
