India vs South Africa 3rd One-Day International (ODI) match on February 07 at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town; the match starts at 11:00 AM GMT. Proteas wicket-keeper batsman, Quinton de Kock ruled out of ongoing ODI & upcoming T20 series vs India due to a serious injury in left wrist.
Third ODI of the series is going to be an important match for both the opponents as if India wins this match then they will definitely raise their Bar ahead for winning this series easily by defeating African’s in just one other match, on the other hand, if South Africa takes over this game then this be known as their one of the strongest comeback in ODI series ever as their team is now playing in the absence of their original captain Faf Du Plessis and their major batsman Ab Devilliers.
South Africa Team:
Batting first, the Proteas were rolled over for just 118 at Centurion – their lowest ODI total at home. Except for debutant Khaya Zondo, no other batsman was able to read the two Indian wrist-spinners which mean there will now be more expectations on him. Their middle-order looks pretty shaky at the moment and the hosts will need some good contributions from JP Duminy and David Miller besides their key man Hashim Amla at the top. Since Imran Tahir has not been able to trouble the Indian batsmen much, South Africa’s bowling will rely heavily on Kagiso Rabada and Morne Morkel.
South Africa Predicted Playing 11
- Aiden Markram (c), Hashim Amla, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Jean-Paul Duminy, David Miller, Khaya Zondo, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Morne Morkel, Tabraiz Shamsi, Imran Tahir
Virat Kohli has batted well in both the games and so has Shikhar Dhawan who scored a brisk unbeaten fifty in the last game to take India home with almost 30 overs to spare. The only concern for the hosts would be that their middle order hasn’t been tested so far and that Rohit Sharma has failed to convert his starts into something substantial. India’s bowling has been excellent with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah not allowing the Proteas to race away in the powerplays. The key, however, is spin twins Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal who claimed his first ODI five-wicket haul at Centurion. But Hardik Pandya was Not Upto the Mark. He concided 76 runs in 12 Overs. So There is a Possible Chance That India can Replace him with Mohammed Shami.
Team India Playing 11:
Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (capt.), A Rahane, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni (wk), Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal
