India beat SA by 9 wickets, leads series by 2-0
India wins the 2nd ODI match against South Africa by 9 wickets to take a 2-0 lead in the six-match series. For India, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan batted really well and cruised the visitors to a comfortable win at the Supersports park in Centurion. India skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to chase against a vulnerable looking South African side in the second ODI here on Sunday. India skipper has decided to come out to play with the same side that came out victorious in the opening ODI against hosts.
Virat Kohli creates BIGGEST Record against SA
India scripted a comprehensive victory against South Africa in the 2nd ODI of the Momentum Series at the SuperSport Park on Sunday by nine wickets to take a 2-0 lead in the six-match series. After electing to bowl first, the Men in Blue bundled out the hosts for a paltry total of 118 in the first innings as the spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav ran riot.
Virat Kohli’s perfect reply after being hit on ribs by Kagiso
Kohli had to take a fatal hit on his ribs. A stinging delivery from young South African pacer Kagiso Rabada slightly short outside off came towards Kohli who attempted a hook shot.The ball took an edge off Kohli’s bat and hit his midrib. The ball clocked at 142 kmph was like a straight up rocket. However, Kohli took all the pain in and replied to it in great fashion. The next delivery in the same area Kohli makes no mistake and sends it out of the park.
