It is expected that the 4th ODI will be in favor of India, like the previous matches. Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan are in great form, and they will carry it forward into the Johannesburg ODI.
India lost the wicket of skipper Virat Kohli who was dismissed for 75 runs. India skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first against South Africa in the fourth one-day international. The visitors have made one forced change to their side as injured Kedar Jadhav has been replaced by Shreyas Iyer.
As for the Proteas, who are sporting Pink in the fourth ODI, their most experienced campaigner AB de Villiers is back into the side. De Villiers has replaced Khaya Zondo while pacer Morne Morkel has replaced wrist spinner, Imran Tahir. The hosts are going to rely on their pacers and a part-time spinner JP Duminy.
Virat Kohli hits Monsterous Six
But a moment which took everybody’s attention was Virat Kohli’s bashing six in Nagidi’s over, but there is something more into it before Kohli hits this massive six. Actually, in previous over the bowler, Chris Morris try to sledge Shikhar Dhawan but Dhawan did not react on it at all, while Kohli seemed to be unhappy with that. And in next over when Dhawan passed the strike to captain then Kohli replied Proteas with a rough straight drive which later resulted into the longest six of 4th ODI.
So, things are looking in favor of the Indian Cricket Team from the beginning as after Rohit Sharma’s wicket captain Kohli and Dhawan batted really well and gave India a strong start with their solid partnership. Kohli managed to score 75 and Dhawan score’s 109 in 4th ODI.
